How's Fay treating you? She's stopped slapping you around, I hope. :p

you can still use a power supply with a PNP Ge or hybrid pedal, it just needs to usually be center-positive (using the conventional DC jack) so that you get the right polarity for the supply. It also needs to be isolated from all other center negative effects else shit will not work.

The draw on a FF is usually fairly low.

She always be slapping me

Will Ken install a DC positive ground input? I use a Cioks DC-10 and everything is isolated. I think I have an adaptor that switches the ground from negative to centre positive. I just have to make sure not to use that plug for any of my other pedals ;)

Sorted. It won't be for months before I can afford any pedals. Pedals have been on the backburner for months now. Putting on my funds towards the Dunwich, a new guitar for teaching, and a new apartment.

I don't actually need any pedals right now. That's why they've been put on the backburner. I'm really happy with my setup. So happy that I've been condensing and selling stuff I don't use regularly, and I still have more to go.

Dan - if the OxFuzz doesn't work out, you may want to give the EQD Dream Crusher a look. I miss mine quite a bit.

I was looking at the Dream Crusher as well, but it didn't have the same kind of explosive low-end that some Fuzz Faces have. Usually I can find them at really cheap prices though so it would be worth it in the end.

I do a Ge FF called the FVZZ - it's funny how modern and articulated it can sound, I always expect sludge and goop!
I use a charge pump to flip it, never had a problem either.

Stereo TB loop - just built one last week for a client!

AngryGoldfish wrote:This is a generalization that won't make this situation any easier, but people in power are often there because they ignored others and didn't care about stepping on anyone to get where they wanted to be. They are no better or worse than the people who avoid paying taxes or burn their houses down to claim on insurance. In both situations they step on others to better themselves. Managers, CEO's, executives, they're praised for their ingenuity and credibility, yet a young Hispanic kid doing ten years for selling dope to get his 3-year old into nursery is shown no credence or sympathy. No one gives a shit, yet I consider him more valuable and worth our time than the shit kickers at the top of the food chain. They are there because they used other people's decencies, sensitivities and insecurities as ladder beams for their own selfish gains.

Mojo sent to you, my friend. I wish you all the best fighting this. Keep your ear to the ground and maybe you won't even need to fight anything.

Thanks Dan. I completely share your view that, for the most part, a lot of people get to where they are by treading on the necks of others. Trample the weak, hurdle the deal and all that. Those people create situations like the one you described by setting the rules so that only they win. Civilisation is a farce.

Corey Y wrote:I hope it works out in your favor and you end up in a better situation Pope, that stinks. We've gone through a lot of terrible boss/work situations, especially to do with legal unpaid leave and vacation times effecting things they legally can't, with my wife and two government jobs she had in a row. It was very emotionally exhausting, so I hope it's not too prolonged for you.

Thanks man. I am exhausted already after everything that's happened this year. I just need a break from the bullshit I guess.

ShaolinLambKiller wrote:Well pope that's just fucking disgusting. I hope that revenge comes for you in either you winning out in staying where you want, or you get to at least watch your boss die a slow painful death somehow that happened outside of your hands.

That would be mad if it were a court appointed punishment for violation of worker's rights.

You guys all rock.
Fuckin hard.

I'm having a hard time keeping what little faith I had in humanity alive for the now.
You guys are sustaining it, though.

Figured you'd be a sympathetic ear, Skip.
HUGS FOR YOU, TOO!

Let it go... come to the dark side... when you have no faith there is no room for disappointment just expectation and then you can prepare to put yourself above as the you know their plan before they do. Plus, we have cookies.

You know it! and :yay: for hugs!

Down with the cookies,
I suppose the outcome is always the same.
The bar is low.

Although you guys do set it rather much higher.
For which I am grateful.

Did my first teach today, 2 weeks earlier than I was scheduled because I got bored.

I think I did alright
