Piece of shit Jazz bass. I'm not so clued up on when particular Jazz Bass copies were built, but I'd hazard a guess that this thing is at least one thousand years old.

Image

I've had it about 10 years. It's just horrible. It smells like damp clothes and drains. I opened it up a few months back to resolder a pot, and there was MOLD growing in there.

Mold growing in there. That just adds to the  factor.

I too would like to know this. If they're pretty resistant, then I have some plans to make

I had to sand down the pickguard to get the paint to stick, but other than that they're pretty resistant with the exception of pick wear. Only wear I have had are above and below the strings where my pick scratches land.

Where does the Bitburger sticker come from? It's funny to see that on your bass on the other side of the globe! :D

Dad was in the Air Force, and we we're over in europe for quite a while. I still have godparents that live there.

I'll try and get a photo tonight as I'm going to a show with an older buddy of mine that has a ~1967 or so Mustang with a a 80's Hyundai badge nailed into it among other things.
