Piece of shit Jazz bass. I'm not so clued up on when particular Jazz Bass copies were built, but I'd hazard a guess that this thing is at least one thousand years old.
I've had it about 10 years. It's just horrible. It smells like damp clothes and drains. I opened it up a few months back to resolder a pot, and there was MOLD growing in there.

Mold growing in there. That just adds to the factor.

I had to sand down the pickguard to get the paint to stick, but other than that they're pretty resistant with the exception of pick wear. Only wear I have had are above and below the strings where my pick scratches land.
