Sorry for you, broham. Ohio is an awful place.

I appreciate the sympathy, my dude. I'm not a big fan of Ohio - the wife's extended family lives there, so we have to make the trip every now and again. She's from Cincinnati, which has some really cool shit that is completely lost on the mouth breathers that live there.

That jives with my limited experience there, too. But I know some people who really enjoy it, so. :idk:

People who live there love it. Those people are generally really conservative and are afraid of all shades of brown people, though. It's hard to argue with the job and housing situation out there though - you can get some bullshit factory job and live in a 2500+ sqft home with a finished basement.

My boyhood home was two miles from Ohio. But all I really know of that state are bus stations in a few major cities. I hope the rest of Ohio is better than its bus stations. For the sake of everyone.

Talk to me bout the Boost Tiger. Is it like the SHO at all?

And I've never spent much time outside of Cincinnati, and never been in their bus stations, but I can almost assure you that the bus stations are a reasonable representation of the rest of the state.

Trying a new beer tonight: Oddside Ales Mayan Mocha Stout. Coffee, cinnamon, nutmeg, habanero. Excellent with *very* dark chocolate (for me, "dark" pretty much starts at 75% cocoa mass and gets better from there).

Still waiting on new guitar build: 27"-scale reso-lectric from Kochel Guitars in MT. P90 in the neck and a piezo on the bridge. Roots-doom imminent. Guess I better learn to play slide.

D, sounds fun as hell.

Celtic, Sounds nummy as hell!

The Elysian 12 beers of the apocalypse "Peste) was a beer that sounds similar. It was godly. I've been looking for similar ever since. Might have to track that down.

Old slide roots and blues is doom as fuck. I bet a slide guitar with a massive wall of amps would be amazing.

Oddsides has some good beer. I haven't made it out to the brewery yet but I've enjoyed what they put out.

For some reason I seem to recall them making a bourbon aged beer that wasn't super heavy. One of the few bourbon beers that I really got into and now I'm sad because it doesn't appear on the website.

I got the dude who feeds Mike's cats when he's out of town discount and it still cost more than my last three cars combined. It was worth every penny and if it was stolen or something I'd do it again. My next clean amp will be a Soldano. I'm hoping to have it next month for some jangletonez.

I knew there would be re-percussions for stating that.
But to be honest…Green is cool…but its not me, its sleep…if I’m going custom, I want it to be me…and I’m a monochrome kind of guy!

whiskey_face wrote:A GREEN WHAT IN THE US!?!?!?!

Not in the US yet…a guy in the US ordered a GT1, but hasn’t paid up the rest of the cash and its sitting in the factory in the UK.

Played with the Badascan into my Soldano earlier and I do believe I'm in love with the Hotrod again. Still have a little too much highs with my 5150 cab at home but I imagine when I get to the space and can crank the 6x12 it'll be spot on.

Man that 48hr shift sounds hellish…hope you feel better very soon.
Also…”Crank the 6x12” should be the 11th commandment.

Or…get a 7x12 Cab! Not sure if possible…but that would be insane…Insanely good! :!!!: :!!!: :!!!: :!!!: :!!!: :!!!: :!!!:

FEAST YOUR EYES

Fuck me...what an absolute waste...I still dont get why anyone would want to relic a guitar...it makes no sense. If you buy a new guitar...then its new...why not let it relic on its own and then it means something. Anyway...i did some digging on the seller and found that he is a professional relic-er....his latest is this one:

but I have to admit...he did a good job on this one...

I’m surprised I could log-in this morning!
I think they expected me to take it too…they asked me about the music I play first…then when I said, I prefer not to have Green, there was a awkward silence.

Is that the one you mentioned a while ago? What did the specs end up being and what colour did you go for?

Darren, what tubes are you running in your SLO? I did a little bit of tube rolling and noticed that a 12at7, 12au7 and any of the jj's labeled ec883s wouldn't work in v1. Got no sound at all.
