I like how they did the whole OrMat thing without being a direct rip off. The graphics/red tolex I could live without though.
It's "88 watts" basically its a 2xkt88 power amp. Yeah the usability and type of fuzz is definitely a need to know.
It's supposedly circuit wise NOT based on Orange / OrMat though from what mr Fortin has said in interviews. So I wonder what it is based on, considering all the Ozzy speak in the description I'm guessing its some kind of Laney ripoff actually. Maybe some kind of Klipp variant? Didn't that amp have a switchable fuzz section and clean / gain channels like this amp?
If this is a Klipp variant I'm really interested. Does anyone here use a colorsound one knob fuzz style pedal for doomy stuff? I picked one up for super cheap the other day and haven't had a chance to try it out yet.
I recorded some overdubs on our new album with a ritual into my V4 and it was HEAVY.

The Cthulhu fuzz which i believe is in the vein of the fuzzface / colorsound one knobbers is all over the Nanshe album.
Is that what that was.... I had no clue what it was based on. Hell yes I'm stoked for this thing. How easily moddable are they? I got a Vick Fuzz Box in a partial trade

I can't manage to get muffs sounding right with the VI/V4 combo at all, but super fuzz and distortion are both rad. I hope this solves the issue.
The Fuzz Face/One Knob family tend to overrun the guitar tone a lot less than Big Muffs and their ilk. Whether that's a good thing or not depends on what you're going for.
Clearly you and I have very similar tastes in dirt boxes though.
I hate to be that guy but I really think that amp looks really cheap. In a bad way.
not really a fan of the look. I'm not sure what it is but the individual things that I might of liked combine to make it look..... cheap. Yep that's the right word.
I'm hoping the cheap look transfers to a cheap street cost.
If the clean channel is anything at all like my RD100H's clean channel I'll be picking one up, regardless of the gaudiness but dependent on price. If the gain channel and fuzz channels are different but just as good as my Diavlo's then I'm DEF on board.

It was that into a Volt Thrower for most tracks there was one or two that were just cthulhu.
I believe they are definitely modable, and rather easily too.

Hmm I thought it was just the Volt Thrower for some reason. I wondered why your tone was so fuzzy with a RAT

That's definitely a good thing for this application and frees my supercollider up to go back on my bass board for my punk band. Footswitchable doom is surprisingly useful in that context.
That we do Have you tried any of the Infanem stuff? I picked up a driving notion in that $99 sale and I'm hoping it'll take place of the OCD

Haven't tried the driving notion, I use a Singing Tree for my OCD-style "always on"/stacking dirt.

That sucks man, I hope it gets sorted out between the cops and insurance. Turn up.
Yeah having your car stolen is fucked up. I hope it was insured. That's your best option. The worst thing would be to get the car back. Once a car has been stolen it is damaged goods in my opinion.
Yeah that's what I'm fearing the most. Getting back a completely fucked car and owing money to pay for damages/impound fees/towing. And insurance not giving a rats ass. I have USAA though, and they've always been good to me. I'm stuck waiting now for calls from a) police b) insurance agent.
I'm really digging my Pickle Pie B with my rustybox and Jack Cassady right now though. Lot's of deep horrible feedback and squeals.
awesome signature with witty quotes from all you fuckers
