Mojo sent Pope. If I can swing it; I'll try to get some of your spam to help you out and then hold it for you until you get back on your feet. I hate to see people have to sell off their shit like that.

Also, this happened today...

I'm gonna hit up the local print shop for a big ass magnet sign to put on both sides and the back of the van... Dirty diaper service is a go.

Hell yeah, Conkers!

So a couple of things - I want to get into Torche, but I'm ultra late to the game (as usual). Where should I begin? I know that I wasn't a huge fan of what I heard of Harmonicraft, but dig the new song and the stuff I've heard from the album with Baizley artwork.

I also bought an album by an old hcfx Doom Roomer from a couple years back, forget his username, but the band is These Mountains are Ghosts. Good shit. Absolutely from the first wave of 'for fans of Mastodon' but still solid.

Bought a used MXR Black Label Chorus today. If you don't mind the Zakk Wylde association, it's actually a great chorus. Easily the best I've owned. Time to sell the Micro Chorus.

Their first s/t record rules pretty hard. Meanderthal is rad too, and I LOVE Harmonicraft, but the first one hit me like a frosting-coated cinder block the first time I heard the whole thing.

Perfectly stated. That first record is just killer.

Also, I think it bears mentioning that if you like that, check out Floor.

I'm happy to help orchestrate some kind of "ship to one location in the US of MERICA" and then ship out to all involved parties if I can help out some way.

Also applying for a temporary job (possibly a few months) out in the bay area for the springtime. If I get it will need to hang with Doom Roomers when available since I'll otherwise be stuck hanging with co-workers who could possibly be cannibalistic humanoid underground dwellers.

basement jams are always best since it's always just you and your own. sucks for load in and load out.

Dudes!
Been gone a while - initially due to the festive season but I ended up in limbo because of a car accident!
Anyway, I hope everyone is well and I'm going to play catch up on the thread…. I see a lot of reading is in order!
For now though, I would like to leave this with you…. (there is a second cab but I felt the half stack looked cleaner)

YOU ARE LEGEND. That may work well if local interest is thin or waning.
Good luck job hunting man! Those sound like.....interesting working conditions....

T: as Christian mentioned, Torhe's first album is fucking killer, go from there. Meanderthal is another good one to start on. Digging the earlier stuff might help Harmonicraft click a bit better. The only one I'm not mad balls keen on is Songs for Singles, but its not like its a shitty record either.
Floor also rule hard.

Conky, how're you gonna rape anyone in that van? It has way too many windows.

Also, welcome back Mr. Belor. I'm hoping your accident has not been of the serious variety.

T-Rey, my personal favorite is Meanderthal, as the combination of heaviness and songwriting is justright, then the s/t, In Return, & Songs For Singles (though SFS has one of my favorite songs by the band on it, Out Again)
