Nah Zoot suits are cool and always will be. But the safari suit. That is something that never should of been. If you look up bad taste in the dictionary you will see a picture of a safari suit.

It drives me fucking crazy to sit at work all day when all I can think about is writing songs and recording sounds.

Watching pedal demos and people making "ambient music" pissed me off earlier today. Oh look, here's a little melody using a major scale. Turn on two delays and two reverbs AND NOW ITS AMBIENT MUSIC ugh god fuck you ugh.

Unrelated to the point made above, im starting to think Mogwai is a bullshit band.

I don't lust for pedals very often anymore. Maybe it's a coping mechanism because I'm forever broke.
It's always like "man, that's a pretty big investment..."
I dunno. Pretty bored in general. I wish I could be excited about music every day.

The lack of similarly-minded musicians around here is starting to get to me. I'm starting to think I have to be in a country band or a nu metal band to play shows around here.

Even if I was able to start my dream band, who around here is going to listen to fuzzed out noise pop?

I might write some bullshit ambient music and see if I can get a coffee shop gig.

Where do you live in GA? I though they like good music up around Athens and Atlanta.

Oh, they do!

I just live an hour and a half from Atlanta and three hours from Athens. Rome, Ga.

There used to be a pretty decent scene here. Everyone has just moved to either Atlanta or Athens. I'll be able to get out of here in the next year or two, so maybe there's hope.

I think so. Baroness and Circle Takes the Square are both from Savannah, so I assume there's more.
