Tennis elbow sucks. All I want to do is play guitar and draw. I can't seem to nail what exercises I'm doing that could be aggravating it. I probably should take a week or two off, but If I don't exercise, I tend to get moody and depressed. If I can't even draw or play some guitar, it will be very difficult, to say the least, not to get moody and depressed. My job has me waking up before the sun four if not five days a week and my most creative time is in the morning, so I've hardly been making any art (when my arm isn't bothering me). For some reason when I DO have time to think about how I could change my lifestyle, all that comes to me is "make art, make music, exercise." I want some fucking lucrative interests dammit. I start to miss my girlfriend when I can't see her because her schedule is crazy, and all those aforementioned things are what keep me from getting anxious. I'm trying to go for some light runs again, so maybe that will help, but it's supposed to dump a shitload of snow here this weekend.

I don't know what to do. I have a laundry list of stupid first-world problems and that makes me feel like a whiny asshole.

Maybe dumping this crap here will help me a bit.

i got this great deal on an air compressor at a used tool store yesterday. i was so excited about it. it had a sticker on it from the previous owners company. being mildly curious, i googled the name to see what came up. what i found was an article talking about this company getting a trailer full of tools stolen a week and half ago from a town about three hours away from here. fuck me. i called the guy and left a message and called the number in the article for the dispatch or whatever to let them know i may have bought one of the stolen tools, in case anyone wanted to follow up. of course i'm going to do the right thing and i feel bad for the dude. i got all my tools stolen a year and a half ago and am still catching up on replacing them, and i would have loved for anyone to do anything to help me get my shit back. i just also feel like i'm shooting myself in the foot at the same time. i really need a compressor and i've had a real hard time finding a decent deal for what i want. and this was perfect and a really good deal. i want to help the dude, but i also wish i hadn't been so curious, or could have left well enough alone. or that i didn't have to deal with this pesky sense of right and wrong.

Good karma will come your way. You are doing the right thing. And let them know what store you got the compressor from. More of his gear is probably there too.

I hate being in bands and always being the one pulling the weight. Would quit in an instant if it wasn't for the lovely, lovely absolutely brilliant music we make the few times everybody actually decides to give a damn simultaneously. People think just showing up to rehearsal is enough and it's not, whatever the current ambition is. Who's with me on this?

Yeah I'm with you there. I think a musicial group is exactly that, A GROUP!!! It is about everyone puting an individual spice or ingredient into the pot. The whole being greater than its individual parts. :idk: I haven't been in a band in years, like since the 90s. So I'm probably not the one to really comment.

Try as I might, I just can't seem to get all my effects at the same volume. Or everything will be about the same volume, but then when I try to stack, its unbearably loud.

I keep having fairly realistic, stressed out dreams about bad things happening to me. Like to the point of almost any time I sleep at all.

Also, we really need that unconditional basic income. It solves so much.. hunger, bad employers, art/culture funding, prostitution, drug abuse (based on Rat Park).

On the bright side, all the stuff that's going on in Greece may sway global opinions on politics. Usually people tolerated when someone stepped over their campaign promises, people are like "ahh, that's normal, that's politics", but these guys are sticking to them.

Also, respect Kaos
If u get in trouble, we'll make it viral :hobbes:

Hey, I go to that universtiy and am taking the course that guy taught(psychopharmacology(crazy farm animals)) We learned about rat park obviously and its weird that its not the standard model. If you put one of us in solitary confinement for a couple weeks then all of a sudden give us some drug of course we'll become addicts.
Any who north american cities seem to have lost any sense of community but maybe thats just because where I live got gentrified like crazy.
Sadly though the party system itself has really undermined democracy and possibly our sense of community because we no longer have a representative from our community in the capital but the representative of some party with some nebulous set of ideals to hide the fact they just want power and money. Burn it down i say. Cleansing with fire and all that nonsense.

So I really fell for this girl, I've known her a couple years, lots of texting and more hanging out in the last year or so. I asked her out and she said she got over me and moved on in december.
I don't even know what to feel. mostly like a fuck up like usual though.

Critical discussion of the government's weak economic policies and general disdain towards the people who voted for it always get my motor runnin.
