I really have to find a way to get that sharpie off the bass alcohol and nail polish remover have left it in the current state, only thing thats worked is one particular pencil eraser. The large erasers I bought didn't work. Ugh. /rant

Thanks man! I cracked the neck on that SG though and have yet to try and repair it. One of my next projects, if I ever get around to it, is one of these ridiculous headless metalbeast:

If you have to get rid of that sharpie staining, I recommend using some fine grit cutting compound on a damp cloth with some elbow grease. Staining like that probably needs to be cut and polished out.

I'll probably just leave it for now, but maybe in the future. Im not planning on getting rid of it or anything so meh. But thank you for the advice
