you're doing it wrong
at one point I read that Japanese Buddhists use itching as a means to get even more detached, just let it go, notice the happening but let it pass. the more you focus on it the stronger it gets, energy flows where attention goes. that helped.

I know, I tried! But it started in my eyeball, then worked its way to the top of my head to the point that it felt like something was crawling on me. Fortunately, that wasn't the case. But it led to a "false start". After I scratched, I was able to successfully meditate.
Plus, I'm not quite on the same level as a Japanese monk. But that IS a goal of mine. Truth be told, I'd meditate in the past with some success. Then I'd get lazy and quit But I've decided to meditate for 40 days as a "reverse Lent" type of deal. I gave up smoking, so I figured I'd gain something (no I didn't give up smoking for Lent, I gave it up because one of my kids asked me to, money, and cancer risk). So I'm very much a novice. One day, though...

Nah, the names come after. :P

Yeah, putting the band name/website/branding before making at least some music is a pretty typical sign that people have stars in their eyes and have no intention of putting in the requisite hard work/effort.

I have a list of cool band names in my head but I refuse to be the first person to suggest a band name. One band I was in played our first show without a name. 3 songs, all instrumental, 30 minutes.

Only band which I've had a name prior is my "solo" name, but that's because either had a clear concept once I started... Now, I don't even know.

I'm tired of being tired, tired of being anxious, tired of my job, tired of having daily emotional roller coasters, and tired. TIRED.

And it sucks ass when you go to a friend to talk and maybe help your feel better, only to have them dump 200% more negativity on you.

Can you at least get to advanced boot options? F8 it on startup and use your restore point.
