Is it referencing Korn, the band?

nope. it wasn't the same size.
but doesn't matter, it's gone now.
That was my 2nd superbass (previous was a 72), and i'm just not that impressed by the tone both times.
Not enough headroom I guess, so it always sounds like itself regardless of the pedals I put in front of it.

Nah, its just fun to stack amps! My cat likes to climb amps, so that was taken down to reasonable levels after that picture.

Even though it didn't work here, I'll have to keep in mind that a tolex-ed front on a stained wood shell on an amp might look really good.
Edit: Just thought about it and that's kind of a inverse of Science's look.

After a long winter, I like to break in the spring by buying junk and restoring it in my garage.
After a few cases of beer and dabs galore, I got this 66' supro taurus head and 68' fender bandmaster cab looking and sounding fresh...

Re: Let's see your AMP!
It's pretty bright actually, lots of emphasis in the upper midrange. Kinda reminds me of a vox with a lot more bottom end, sounds a little clangy, and can get nice and saggy when cranked.
After getting a little schooling on supros, I gave it a cap job, and found out schematic wise, that the amp is a supro thunderbolt with dual output transformers for 70w in a headshell.
The entire rig was a rats nest when I bought it, especially the cab. It was covered in spray paint and had some slight water damage. But it was free, so can't complain. Loaded with eminence deltas, and couldn't be happier.
Will also work for bass duties in a pinch.
