I've come to realise alot of the muff clones don't really come close to the originals. My Emanating Fist Dope Priest (guild foxey/violet rams head) sounds nothing like my Marveltone Distortion/Sustainer(first version violet rams head).

Maybe their is somthing to the so called holy grail fs36999 trannys that my marveltone houses, but the dope priest lacks volume, and seems to roll off some treble response compared to the original.

The one clone I know from personal experience that nails the original is the Wren & Cuff Box of War. Great civil war clone.

Edit: Does anyone make a v3 clone? I know these aren't exactly glistened in unicorn jizz or anything, but of all the ones I've tried over the years that one had the most gain on tap. Seems like not alot of em to be had.
