Last summer, one of the students working in my office brought in his older brother's Dominion board from the 80s - I was ALL OVER that, cruising the parking lot. Doing slides, fast-plants, manuals, shove-its and hospitals. Hands-down, one of the best day of the summer!

Last weekend, i took my son to the skatepark for the first time this year. He brought his scooter and skateboard (I was lobbying - hard - for him to just bring his board). He mostly rode his scooter because he's most comfortable on it. At one point, he laughed and said I should jump on his board and chase him around the park.
Okay!
:D

Wasn't 15 minutes and he was chasing me! LOL What an amazing day! Anyway...
I stopped in at the shop down the street from me, this afternoon. Bought a complete! Mother board, Indies, Direct wheels (made in Toronto) and reds.
Hitting up the park tomorrow. I can hardly wait!

very cool story man... :thumb:

my eldest is only 2.5 years...but i hope i have a similar experience in a few years time.

If any of you miss extreme sports games, please consider chipping in a few bucks to this kickstarter. I know, rollerblading is gay, but it is also fun. And this has potential to be a great game considering all that's been done up to this point has been done by one dude. Pretty crazy. Takes dedication.

I think i will order my son and myself a Skateboard in the next days.
I'm still undecided if i will go with an old school (Powell Peralta Like) Cruiser or the 08/15 twin tip thingy. My riding Time was 24 years ago so I'm a bit undecided yet.

YES!

I love watching snowboarding that isn't just another shot of another park built on another ski-hill...
Thanks
