Just did a little quick comparison of the Noise Box and the Harmonic Antagonizer. Wow! It'd be a tough choice if I had to choose one over the other. Luckily, I don't.

There are things I love about each of 'em.

I really love the way the Noise Box is unruly, unpredictable (at times) and glitchy/gatey/sputtery. It is, however, much more limited in what it can do than the Harmonic Antagonizer. With the HA you can dial it in so it's almost like a "normal" fuzz. That's something you can't ever do with the NB. It seems like the oscillator is more noticeable on the HA. I was getting some tremolo-like sputters yesterday. Hope I can find that setting again. (I've generally been keeping the blend at about noon though.) I've got a lot more territory to explore.

IDK, just not me, but there's certainly enough potential buried under the ironiriff avalanche to keep me waiting for a real demo. I guess that's what happened-they made a teaser, and left the demo for later. Me, I'm still waiting for later (as usual).

How do they sound with wiggy NB run into one of the HA's more controlled settings?

Haven't tried that yet. I had the HA before the NB. When I turned them both on together it was messy. I'll have to do some experimenting.

Yeah, NB works better into HA than the other way around. You have to jack up the volume on the HA though. It tames the wildness of the NB a bit however. Definitely interesting.

Keeley and Mike Fuller are in the kitchen. Fuller watches as Keeley silently listens to Chankgeez' cries from below. Keeley moves to the exterior doorway. Fuller steps forward to hold Keeley back, but Jack Orman nods to him from the dining room vestibule and Fuller stands back.

Cut to Exterior

Keeley slowly descends cast iron exterior staircase. As he reaches the top of the first story landing, Chankgeez falls to his knees and bows his head. Keeley completes the descent and they embrace as buckets of rain fall from the sky. A dustbowl era pickup truck driven by Tim Escobedo pulls away from the curb as Zachary Vex peers out from under a tarp in the truck bed.

Fade to black.
