I don't play games that require a mouse for that very reason..... I always use an Xbox controller.

Thanks! Not too bad. The Mrs. said I was a little short with our cat the first night. But really, our cat was just being an asshole :lol: But no moodiness, no real cravings. I'm wrapping up my 4th day as a non-smoker. When I get bored, instead of smoking, I meditate. Oxytocin buzzes are nice. Once my lungs have had more time to heal, I think the meditation will prove to be more effective, as I'll be able to breathe deeper. :thumb:

I know about them. What I don't get is why the extensors feel like they're tensing up when I grip something :idk: Is there some anatomy thing I'm not understanding? I thought they should relax when I grip since the flexors are what closes the fist. I had some medial epicondylitis last year in the same arm, and what helped was to change my pullup grip. I tried to do that exercise where you roll a weight up onto a dowel, but it only seemed to make things worse.....

Technically I'm on roids I guess? I take testosterone cypinate because my test levels were so low that I was having no energy, panic attacks constantly and a bunch of other issues. My doctor put me on the shot and it took quite awhile to get the dosage right. So months of hell. Now it's working perfectly. A shot in the butt twice a week. My test levels are that of a 18-20 year old now.

So we are keeping an eye on my PSA (so I don't get cancer) and other levels to make sure. He said I'll more than likely be on this dose until I'm 45 and I'm 32 right now. My levels are at a thousand from three hundred. HUGE change. Just huge.

It's technically a steroid but so is insulin. If you ask me I think it's complete and utter bullshit that the Bodybuilding world even fucking cares, but whatever.

I'm doing my first show May 16th btw! Anyone in Omaha that wants to see me in a banana hammock, please come out! I'll list details later if anyone is serious. :)

I'm 205 right now and 10% body fat. I'm 5'8. LOL. I've never been this big. I'm going through a cut right now. UGH. HATE IT. I have to drop about 20lbs in 12 weeks.

Hmm I actually hadn't thought about the length of the muscles. I've been stretching bot directions quite a bit with the gymnastic stuff I do. Maybe once I limbered up those muscle groups they became unbalanced because one side wasn't pulling as hard anymore?

Alright. So I did about two hours worth of watching all the videos I could and reading a shitload of websites on tennis elbow. I thought I'd write this here in case anyone is interested. I thought Jwar might be since you're a personal trainer, right? I'd be curious to hear your opinion :poke:

And this webpage, while not the prettiest, broke down how the wrist extensors are used in different kinds of grips, which helped me identify what things I should and should not do, and how to modify some things so I still can do them.

I've modified my workout over the last few days so that I'm not using the parallettes (because of the wrist stabilization required) and for pulllups and front lever work I use a "hook grip" (holding the bar with just the four fingers, no thumb). The hook grip helps a lot because in using the thumb, and closing the fist, I discovered that you actually engage your extensors in doing so. By not using the thumb, I'm hardly using them at all.

I still can't really write with my right hand without feeling the injured area get pissed off, and I have to be real careful playing guitar (I can't play for very long either :( )

Over the last couple weeks I've lightened my workload in my workouts so that I'm doing more mobility work and stretching, and less pummeling myself with bent arm strength elements (I'm too addicted to the straight arm elements at this point....) and making sure to rest more. In doing so I've noticed a muscle size gain already O_o

Oh and these four simple-ass exercises will totally brutalize you, but I've kept up doing them every other day or every few days and I've already noticed strength improvements. They look easy, but just try and hold them for three rounds of 60 seconds and see what happens:

2 bananas, some broccoli, spoon of honey, some turmeric powder, some wheat grass powder, 1/3rd milk, 2/3rds water. Blended, pretty satisfied.

I've finally quit smoking! :!!!: :!!!: :!!!: :!!!: :!!!:
I just hit week three and I feel great. I've tried to quit so many times, made it to 1-2weeks before falling back into it, and I was worried that i just tried too many times to be motivated enough to do it.... but I did :)
I've been working out and eating well for the pas 6 months so it was the last vice I had, and it heavily contradicted my lifestyle so I knew this was coming. This was my first time doing it cold turkey though, since I'm an avid weightlifter i figured if I made the commitment there's no point having nicotine in my body. What helped the most was drinking lots of water. I love drinking water and instantly feel healthier whenever I do, so for the first week or so I was drinking probably 30 cups a day. Probably placebo but it felt like I had immediately flushed the nicotine out of my system and lost the physical addiction.
Since then i've been lifting much more weight and feeling better in the gym, which only motivates me to stick with the quitting.
