I think if I start pedals up again it would be with the mechanical sun delay (rather than yet another batch of the old nautilus). Aren't too many delays like it out there just yet.
I like this idea a lot.

DED. I DIED.
That said, more Sonic Crayon would always be welcome, even if I never get my act together enough to buy one.

Anything you want to know!
I'm away from it for a couple weeks but happy to post a demo or answer questions. It's really cool but honestly not super applicable lol, at least not in the music I play. I just did an ep with my band that was really effects light, but our full length I want to have a lot of weird sounds, thankfully I've amassed a lot of pedals! I use masf stuff live, a dwarf craft SOMMS, lots of weird stuff to spice up our tunes, but I havent brought out the rando yet, partly by it's hard to use right in a live setting, and partly because it's so rare.
I know cloudscapes gets it all the time, but man the sc stuff is so cool. Would just love to see more of it, a mechanical sun would be next level, and honestly there's a lot of cool glitchy stuff out there but I disagree, not anything else quite like the anti from what I've seen. I really dig the drool stamen but idk seems like a different beast
Only other builder that I find to be as interesting is pladask! I tried to get a FORM2 but got the intl times mixed up somehow, now after a fabrikat

The Charlie Foxtrot is probably more like the AntiNautilus than anything else. I wouldn't put the Stammen in the same category of glitch pedals.

So what 32 bit microcontroller is the basis for the Mechanical Sun ?

If I remember correctly SC mostly works on PIC/Microchip microprocessors. There are a bunch of different 32bit PICs to chose from. Coded in C. Doing sound with a PIC32 you'd want the audio to be in/outputted via an external ADAC chip. For delay/looper stuff adding external RAM chips that communicate with the micro is an option.

PIC32MX575F256H is what's in the Mechanical Sun, fyi.
