Yes, it does. It not only launches the zinc bolts/nuts/washers like bullets directly out of the discharge nozzle, but also large (around 5" square) sheets of 1/8" thick aluminum or steel that comprise the "blades" of the fan. The original design for this fan was shamelessly stolen from GE (they designed it probably 50-ish years ago) and has remained essentially unchanged.Drunkdriver wrote:but, like, how though? The older the dryer, the more damage it causes.
The original version of the same company I have referred to (Superior turned into The Dryer Pros) used to make everything out of minimally welded aluminum and now the "fans" inside are made of steel.
TL;DR Yes, the blowers basically explode/rip apart and expell large pieces of metal.
