Haha, so dude is like "I don't know where it is, last I heard it was on a dock in Thailand...but here is the number of a local artisan that can copy it. He'll hand make and fire all of them, but they will be clay instead of concrete and stone. Your tile might be here in a month." Why didn't he send us to the artisan months ago? Why didn't he just say "can't get that tile"? People, man, some people.

So either talk to dude and get a three week wait for hand made tiles (plus extra cost probably) or wait one month to maybe get the tile! Arrggg. I told him I'll talk to the dude, but we will be looking elsewhere. If the tile shows up fine, we will buy it nothing else comes up.

More surprisingly, you remembered the copper haha! It looks like crap right now, but it is a functional kitchen. So frustrating!

Then my wife got called into work Saturday so we will probably miss Festival Supreme (Kids in the Hall, The D (doing jazz), Super Dave Osborne, the Darkness, etc). Probably can't sell the tickets so I gotta find some flaky friend to pass them on to so I can off load them (they will probably skip it). Damn.

If you were here, I would give you the tickets so you and your wife could go. haha.

My wife would kill me if I went without her. She is still trying to trade her shift 2 for 1, but nobody wants to be the covering doctor in the ICU on a Saturday.

Sometimes I think signing up here was a drunk mistake. All the interesting discussions have already been had. The Hardcore thread is the only good thread. I only like maybe three or four people here. It's a total GAS circle jerk (duh). Three Norwegians on any given forum is too many. :idk:

I knew I would live to regret this...

I don't get the crustacean, is it because I'm crabby af? Fun is something I do not know. And I like good shit, what the fuck Department of Sanitation?

Thanks for the hugs I guess. Shit is just depressing for some reason. If you can't post about that in this thread then where.

Man, why you even got to do a thing.

I hate being back at my parents place, even if it's only temporary. I always feel so fucking lonely here. & trying to move to a new city to start from scratch if fucking stressful and I keep thinking about "what if..." situations with potential strangers I could live with. & my motivation to play bass has gone down the fucking toilet, not in my internal desire but in actual practice. Just picking it up a noodling for a while and getting no where. I can't escape the feeling that no matter how hard I try I'm never going to be in a band that lasts more than 5 practices, but then I just feel stupid because I can certainly try harder. But then there's moving, so it's not like it makes sense to try and find people to make a band with now. I still need to buy a car. I want to talk about all the actual sad bullshit that's been going on in my life but I don't want to bring it up to friends and I don't want to talk about it on the internet. & I hope that typing this will make some sort of difference, a release, or something. I guess time will tell. Blah.

Thanks man. I appreciate it. However there's some stuff I wouldn't really like to talk about with just anyone, let alone a public forum.
It's cool. I feel better than I did when I posted that already. I'll have to stop being avoidant and reach out to a friend here at home.
