short PWM fuzz run
i'm going to be re-vamping the layouts of my pedals pretty soon and i've got a ton of small enclosures laying around here...
so to partially fund this transition, i'd like to make a short run of simple PWM (pulse width modulation) fuzzes.
edit: i will NOT be making the simplified version!
5-10 of this version:
4 knobs (WIDTH, VOLUME, SPEED, DEPTH), a switch (CHOP) and a CV input. speed/depth will be for a pseudo-random LFO.
these will be $150 (4 knob) with free shipping in the US. $15 for most international shipping. any takers? i'll build it up and post some clips in the next few days...

Re: short PWM fuzz run
would it be similar sounding to the PWM you used in one of the "fuck overdrive" vids? because if so, then i'm down.

Re: short PWM fuzz run
I would definitely be interested in a 4-knobber, I've been looking for an excuse to try some of your stuff ever since I saw the TAFM.

Is this the Tim Escobedo PWM fuzz with the Schmitt trigger?

You're gonna do this without the LFO, I assume?

Re: short PWM fuzz run
it seems like people are more into it with modulation, so i'm going to try out a psuedo-random source and see how it sounds. nothing mysterious here! i'm just taking some ideas and putting them together.
not my sample, but this is more-or-less what it will sound like.

Re: short PWM fuzz run
soooo everyone still into this without even hearing soundclips?
i checked out the random mod idea and it's really cool - very johnny greenwood! i've got a nice way to control the speed that i'm going to try out on tuesday. if all works well i'll post some clips and start building! they'll probably be done by the end of next week...

I'm still down

I don't think you can make a bad pedal, and i'm still blown away every time I step on the TAFM... so much so that I kinda want a second one. And I want the overdrive you're making too... and that delay with a patch bay... AHHH I get so much gas browsing your stuff

p.s. what tuning are you using in your more recent videos?

Still in! I am with transients, still blown away by the TAFM and anxiously awaiting the overdrive, and this sounds like it will be no less awesome than both of those.
