stereo question?

Post by autopilot »

what is better to have stereo jacks or have independent in and out jacks for stereo. From user/pedalboard/performance/practical view?

Wouldn't those be two different things? Don't you need splitters and stuff to use a stereo jack one?

I definitely always prefer separate jacks for stereo, although I suppose its not a huge imposition to do it with a TRS jack.

pretty much the same for me...i like separate jacks, but using a TRS>send/return cable jawn isn't that big of a deal.

TRS might be a little more confusing to ppl who don't really get what the difference is between the cables. :idk:

Jero an y cable will work, i guess in a pedalboard, not many people use mixers in their pedalboards

I guess it all depends, if you have to use a larger enclosure because you have to install 2 ins and 2 outs, I guess a lot of people wil prefer 2 TRS-plugs if that gonna make the pedal have a smaller enclosure..
There are other pedals with TRS-plugs..

Ye, from most of our stand point the separate jacks would be more appropriate.
