"Inspired By" John Lennon Epiphone Casino

I had a Korean Casino for like a decade and it eventually fell apart because I played it so much. Looking to get another Casino, and a friend of mine can get me QUITE a good deal on one of these. I've heard they're not as good as the "Revolution" and "1965" Epiphone Lennon Casinos that came out some years ago, but that's expected; these have gotten pretty good reviews, though.

I'm pretty sure there's someone on this board that uses one... bought it in the BST?

It's either this or one of those new Tele Deluxe Thinline with P-90s... But I loved my Korean Casino, and I think I'd like this too.

the "Revolution" etc. guitars were Elitist models made in Japan; the "Inspired by" is Korean IIRC. they've been well-reviewed by people on other forums, and are a step up from the standard-issue Epi Casinos.

I had an Elitist for a second... not the Revolution model but just the straight Elitist model, sunburst... and it was one of those guitars that was just too precious to play. Had the same problem when I bought a Gibson J-160E (plus that sounded shitty). So I think a Casino that isn't SUPER high-end but better made than the standard Casino would be right up my ass. I balked at the price when it first came out, but my pal can get me a pretty amazing discount.

I'mma think about it a bit more. I know someone on this forum has one!

UUUGGGGHHH can't decide between Sunburst and Natural. If the Natural is truly NATURAL, that would be good, instead of like a yellow glossy wood look. My older Casino was a sunburst, and I think I generally like that better...

Can't DECIDE.

If the natural's natural, I'd go for that, naturally.
