Who Loves Badass TV shows? Let's hear it!

Post by Bobby D »

your "easter eggs"

your super cool finishes

your great attitude and presence on several forums.

i love you

**EDIT** Bobby D I love you right back and love this thread, but it's completely turned into a thread of our favourite tv shows from around the world so I'm going to rename the title to something related to that and I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me for this trespass.

Some of the easter eggs are blocked (there is a lot of mojo going on inside that thing), so you'll have to buy one for yourself to see em

Well shucks, what a nice post Bobby!

Pretty crazy coincidence actually... 'cause... well.... we love you too! :joy:

And you too, Blurillaz!

And you too, Jon! That's not just random bs on that pcb either, sir, that's the honest truth, Best Flippin' Friends Forever and Ever, even if you don't want that.

Bobby, I know you've had a lot of undeserved drama and stress this weekend and I just want to say here and now in front of everyone, I'm never ever going to belittle and berate you publicly on a message board. You have my word. Tanya's too, she promises.

PS - We think your multicolour strat looks awesome, lotta style in that guitar!

I have my first two Dr. Scientists (RRR and a Frazz Dazzler) in the mail to me as I write. I bummed they won't be here in time for my show this Friday.

I can't wait to get them on my board!

To quote the board, "Smoke us a kipper we'll be back for breakfast" would that be a Red Dwarf Quote Dr Scientist?...

And "Come with us now on a journey through time & Space" The Mighty Boosh?

Thanks ChaseTMP, we really appreciate it and hope you enjoy them! I've been listening to your songs on MySpace and you guys are awesome... please point me towards where I can get a cd!

Good catches, Scruffie! I flippin' love Red Dwarf... I could watch it every day. Ace is one of my favourite characters, totally hilarious! I probably like the Mighty Boosh even more though.. that show just speaks to me. Fantasy and music and comedy, that show is amazing. Brits make the best tv shows, I gotta say.

I used to watch Red dwarf so much when I was younger (pretty much everyday as you'd like to lol, didn't get old)

I haven't seen much boosh, just a few episodes i'm waiting for them to repeat it again or do the next series.

If you like that sorta stuff I might be able to give you another few good exports from England if you want?

Got a good list covered there,
Black Books, IT Crowd, Spaced & Peep Show, & Mitchell & Webb Look

I actually haven't heard of snuff box...

Struggling to think of more buttt,

Green Wing which is a really good, one of my favourites and I highly reccomend (set in a hosptial, but think opposite of scrubs, got fran from black books in it)
Brass Eye Which was hilarious, it's a Satire Comedy with someone you may recognise from the IT Crowd. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IlEcGHxfltE
Is it Bill Bailey? was a short run show but had some good music comedy in it and sketches, can get it on youtube.
Big Train was a Pretty funny sketch show with Simon Pegg
Hippies was another Simon Pegg Comedy which I never actually saw but the only person I met that saw it said it was good lol.

Then theres some older ones that some find hilarious, others don't
I'm Alan Partridge with Steeve Coogan in it
The League of Gentleman was a sorta weird horror comedy thing
Father Ted about priests in Ireland
The Fast Show was quite funny as far as I remember it (from the 90's so a while ago for me to remember)
Then theres too sketch shows I never watch called smack the pony and drop the dead donkey, you'd just have to take a risk with them lol although I think they were popular at the time.

Other than that I can't think of any off the top of my head unless I go back to the 80's or the smaller obscure ones that were either weird (Jam) or that I didn't watch but have just heard of and or watched and not gone for them.
