Welp.. I didn't get very far with the witch..
I am very tired of all the modern takes on witches movies where the witches are real... and evil.. and have real magic... and it's all the fault of...
Welp, THE CRAFT is a masterpiece. I haven't seen the new sequel yet.
THE VVITCH is also a masterpiece.
Cool kid cinema club reqs. HAXAN and THE DEVILS (the Ken Russel one).
There's also a George A Romero movie that kind of has the feel of MARTIN. SEASON OF THE WITCH aka HUNGRY WIVES. It's not very good but I liked it a lot for nostalgic reasons.
MANCHESTER BY THE SEA is not about witches but it's a really good movie.
I saw MINARI finally and that was pretty good. The first hour was better than the second. I really enjoyed the score and would watch it again just for that. I told my buddy I was watching it with my Mom and he thought I said MIDORI. That would not have been great.
"SWIPE LEFT ASSHOLE!" -retinal orbita "Whatever ASSHOLE here’s my pedal that makes humpback whale noises and also it has a built in sequencer so stick it in your craw! -retinal orbita "Patty Mullen takes me from a ball peen to a sledge" -The Great Velvet Hammer "...at this exact moment Divine has learned of your jealous scheme from the local town gossip. She also has your address, ASS HOLE!" -Narrator (Mr. J) PINK FLAMINGOS 1 bird per post please
The Craft sequel is actually...good? Like, after the trailer I expected cringe, and while the friends felt hella one dimensional, but I felt like it was a worthy sequel. One of those movies that will age better a few years after release. Hope this means its gonna be a series.
As far as a welp....
Welp, guess I don't talk to certain people for a reason. Sucks when its your parent....

Been meaning to see The Witch since it was released. I think a six pack, cones, and finally watching it is on the agenda for Saturday night this weekend
