Amazon Prime Day gear?
Anyone find any sweet deals on Prime? I'm looking but haven't found anything yet.

This "sale" gets worse every year, but I, thankfully, talked myself out of a Squier Super Sonic listed as "Good" condition (no explanation given, of course) for about $200, but someone else snapped it up. Those Sonics have a bad reputation for being returned & sold & returned in infinite loops, so I'm better off, probably.
Most of the sale seems to just be bulk strings (.....thanks?), Donner lightning deals, and a barely 20% misc Fender gear (after tax, that's about 8% mega values!). Also, the same thing that happens with every Amzn Sale: all the items in my saved cart inch up a few dollars....at least I can count on that

The bright spot I saw was 40-43% of Squier 40th Anniversary Vintage models. The Jazzmassters were $300, were well reviewed, and are all gone now, though other sellers still have them for similar prices. Strats, Teles, and basses were $285 or so last I looked.
It seems like it may be about last call for this series, so grab one if you want one.

I got the 40th Anniversary Squier Telecaster, vintage edition, and I'm pretty happy with it. It feels good. The neck is more comfortable than any tele I've tried before. The frets seem fine. Not a piece of shit right out of the box.
