Recommend me a pitch vibrato (Edit: Wardenclyffe it is not!)

I want to buy a cool pitch vibrato. So far I used my EHX Ring Thing or the VB-2 model in my Line6 M9 and I also have a TC Electronic Tail Spin. However, I'd like one of those that can do the random speed warbled tape thing and I also want it to go reeeeeally slow.

I know of the Z.VEX Instant LoFi Junky but I'm not sure if it really does random vibrato and I don't like the always on compressor and the tiny format with the cramped knobs.

I also know about the EQD Aqueduct. It's probably what I would buy with my current look on the market but maybe there's a better option?

Then there's the Strymon Deco but it's not clear to me wether or not it can be a straight vibrato or if it can only wobble in the delay line. Also, yes, there are nice sounds in that box, but a little expensive for what it is.

I also have in the back of my mind that Chase Bliss offers a lot in that lofi kind of sound but I feel these have to many options and dip switches and secondary knob functions and what not and I don't like stuff like that.

So, in short, it should do:
- pitch modulation
- random speed option
- abbility to go very slow
- straight forward operation
- no fancy additional functions - at least not too many
- wide range on all the controls from subtle to wild

What do you recommend?

My recommendation would be the Eventide Rose.

My 2nd would be Pigtronix Echolution 2: you can find them cheap but it breaks your too many knobs rule.

Many folks swoon over the Shallow Water- no “normal” sounds here but evocative, maybe enough to capture your heart?

Oh also the Vongon Ultrasheer was good and may tick all your boxes but y’know it comes with a free reverb for the low low price of yer extra kidney.

Boss Super Shifter in flutter mode may work for part of your list, but I think you have to keep your foot on the pedal in that mode. When you step on it, the pitch goes to whatever the interval is set at, then it warbles. They are discontinued and can be found cheap.

Thanks for the suggestions. I did a little deep dive and came upon the Hungry Robot Wardenclyffe and the bigger Wardenclyffe Deluxe. Found a Deluxe for 200€ on ebay and catched it. I'm curious about the hiss, crackle and pop feature. Hexe had a pedal - the Melusine - with that feature and I thought it was cool but snatching a Hexe pedal seems nearly impossible to me...

Okay, the Wardenclyffe Deluxe was delivered today. It's a great pedal. The hiss, crackle and pop sounds you can dial in are super fun. The filter sounds great. The superlong washed out pad reverb is cool and the detune switch does something magical. But: The pitch modulation goes only up in pitch. It's not wobbling up and down around the dry original pitch like you would suppose. I havent played it together with other instruments/sounds but I feel like this could eventually make the pedal completely useless as it'll make everything sound slightly sharp all the time. I wrote a mail to Hungry Robot to see if there is a way (there is a trim pot on the inside) to change this strange feature but I actually doubt it. Very strange.

Ok, after playing around with it for a bit more I decided to sell the Wardenclyffe on. It sounds like the instruments are tuned sharp and wiggled back in tune. I found another contender, the Sold Gold FX NU-33 which will vibrate up and down around the original pitch. Found one to pick up in Bremen next weekend when I'm there. I hope it's more to my liking.
The Wardenclyffe is otherwise a great pedal and after writing an email to Hungry Robot about the pitch up only issue I recieved immediately a very friendly answer explaining the DSP will only pitch up or the pedal would have a negative pitch offset with the depth all the way down. Great customer service but not the right pedal for me.

i had a Wardenclyffe i got as part of my Quest For Lo-Fi. it was too noisy and i had to return it.

On the nicer side, I like the Diamond. (clean and lush, will play nice with others)

If you want more exotic options like random elements, multiple waveforms, what about a Reflection Point from Mattoverse?

Unfortunately not availlable anywhere in Europe and import from US would be veeeery expensive all in all...

Is there some prejudice against the Source Audio Artifakt? It can be programmed to the hilt and I even have several lofi presets I've posted at Neuro 3. FWIW.
