Re: TGD
Hooray! My TGD finally arrived via UPS yesterday.
I gave it the briefest of run-throughs this morning, and was able to beat a hasty retreat out the back way before the neighbors succeeded in busting down the door and killing my bitch ass.
Now I have joined the legions of TGD enthusiasts who have no idea if the device is broken or is supposed to sound that way!
Here's an oddity I noticed: the bypass light only goes on when cables are plugged into BOTH the input and output jacks. Is this supposed to be the case, or do I have a rarity on my hands?
Destruction ho!

Re: TGD
Whoaaaa.
Now I understand.
I was finally able to spend some quality time with my TGD, and must say it is one of the greatest achievements of modern humankind. I can see why some folks on these boards suggested I make it my first Dwarfcraft pedal - this pedals, I believe, gives one a solid understanding of the Dwarfcraft way. It didn't take me long at all to get a HUUUGE array of sounds, from scratchy, lacerating distortion to over the top pulsing oscillations that (I swear!) emulated a Leslie (after having a piano dropped on it, though).
Not only is TGD fairly simple to operate once you take the plunge, it offers endless tweaking possibilities. What's more, my Shiva's workings have been significantly demystified!
