For your synths, why not use the reverb in the grandmother? It sounds fantastic and it's patchable.

No, it doesn't sound fantastic. But it is for sure useful as a source for the patch inputs. At least I didn't like the sound of the spring reverb at all when I tried it out in Ramsgate, UK at the "This Museum Is Not Obsolete" (by Sam "LOOK MUM NO COMPUTER" Battle).

ok, maybe fantastic is a bit of a stretch...but it does the job.

For fantastic, I keep reaching for my Ultrasheer. With the grandmother, I mostly use the built in verb.

Just for clarification, Afterlife is not made for bass. It's made to be used on anything and is not voiced in any one direction. Shoot me an email at fuzzrociouspedals@gmail.com if you wanna talk more :).

Thanks! I'm loving it. And thanks for all the reverb recommendations guys! Fwiw I hadn't thought about getting another boss. I do love the modulate mode which is what I've been using for guitar ever since I got my RV-5 (what at least feels) like 15+ years ago.

I do like the spring reverb on the GM, but would like something more "dramatic" too, if that makes sense?

For recording purposes, or will you be doing any gigs? There's a huge variety of reverb plugins (free to less than 50 GBP/EU/$).
Eventually recording but right now mainly jamming on my own as I don't even own a laptop atm.

Ah, perhaps I phrased that a little clumsily. I meant I have an afterlife which I realy work, but it's staying on my bass board cause I love it there! :) Highly recommend anyone thinking about it to give it a go. Sounds great on guitar/baritone too but for me I prefer it on bass.

Also, someone point me towards some good long patch cables! :hello:
