probably because they're sticking with the f-hole design from the thinline Teles. which i agree is a mistake in the Jag design...it doesn't go with the aesthetic at all, does it?

I believe those were invented by the guy from Groove Tubes.



In my opinion the effect is pretty negligible. Maybe it'd work better if you've got dead spots on the neck or something?

I dig the binding and the lack of contour on those Jags, but yeah, the f-hole doesn't look quite right to me either... Too traditional or something.

Yeah, I believe that Fat Head came first in the chronology, but not too many people wanna attach a brass plate to their headstock. (Imbalances the weapon.) So, he invented the Fat Finger. Not so much of a commitment. I would imagine that the Fat Head works a little better, being that it's a greater mass and such.
