I dig the binding and the lack of contour on those Jags, but yeah, the f-hole doesn't look quite right to me either... Too traditional or something.

And slightly off-topic, but there are also these Fat Head brass plates for increasing sustain:

Yeah, I believe that Fat Head came first in the chronology, but not too many people wanna attach a brass plate to their headstock. (Imbalances the weapon.) So, he invented the Fat Finger. Not so much of a commitment. I would imagine that the Fat Head works a little better, being that it's a greater mass and such.
