Oh no my young fuzz Jedi. You will find that it is you who are mistaken, about a great many things. Including your future post count.

Music out on all streaming services and bandcamp and what not.

haha this rules, Willy!

More weird = more better. Not just saying that because this is ILF and weird is synonymous with good, it just seems that weirder seems like you're really maximising the possibilities with a digital chip - you can do normal so easily on the analogue world.

I'm all for choice! I do t need reverb but I would love a notch filter and a throbbing trem!
backwardsvoyager wrote:Awesome! I'm all for more weird.
What about a comb filter patch? That's something that I like getting out of a delay or flanger but pedals don't seem to have very fine control over it. Could maybe end up with interesting results, maybe not
Choppy trem would be cool though.
Bartimaeus wrote:I feel like a Notch filter or fixed wah type thing would be weirder than Flange or Trem, but something even weirder would also be super cool.

BomBiggY wrote:Octave up/down crushed. Maybe the pitch shifter is close enough for most? Someway of changing wave forms and crushing? Square wave chopper probably would sell a few right off but I think to stay fresh, being able to switch out a patch or two would make the BitQuest hard to pass up. Speaking for me and ah well....me, I'm know I'm looking for a musical crusher. 16 bits sounds like a great idea. Having the ability to tweak your own or switch patches is the future of digital pedals IMO. I like the chip idea. Might work best if there were a variety of chips to choose from with different sets of eight. The set of eight could pertain to a particular musical QUEST!
Thanks for the welcome Ryan and I've got Tremolessence on in one channel all the time these days. Sometimes subtle, sometimes not, but always on. Loving my Frazz too. Super smooth power fuzz deliciousness!

It was a hybrid that would show you a picture of the situation and tell you what was going on. Looking back at it, it's not very good, but I still have a soft spot for it.
I really gotta check out those sierra games and ZORK! I'd never heard of ZORK before, but as it turns out, I already have it downloaded  My favorite text adventure is this:
https://archive.org/details/Hitch-hiker ... tAdventure
It was written by Douglas Adams! Also, you can play it here and avoid the hassle of trying to do a dual boot, or running some earlier version of windows in dosbox (you just won't be able to save :( ).

Hey Chankgeez. If I post 10% of what you have in the the next couple years it'll be some kind of breakthrough. I'll probably have to tell someone.

I'm still pondering the patches though, I still think I'm missing one or two...

Ryan wrote:I've been busy with orders lately and haven't done much code work.. but I'm thinking the BitQuest needs a patch with random.. that's my next goal...
I got the envelope control working kinda well too, made a cool 4 pole LP filter that sweeps your signal with the envelope of your guitar signal but it's not ready for primetime.. has no control over the envelope rate so it's kinda slow and limited.
Random though.. something with random could be fun hey..
Bartimaeus wrote:A quick question about the expression - will the expression pedal take over the sweep of the know, or will it control the amount of sweep above the current position of the knob? i.e. when the knob is set at noon, will the expression pedal sweep the full two octaves or will it sweep up from noon?
