I'm hopelessly addicted to The Rifleman. It's so much better than a lot of those old shows, especially the old westerns. Blows 'em all away, HUR HUR HUR.
Sammy Davis Jr. was in two episodes, so you know it's badass.

and all i have to say is brav the fuck o  nasty i love it
its weird how many of the philly jokes i understand... for a frosty bogan anyway

Pretty funny finale to Ja'mie hey! What a hilarious show! You notice at the end it said he's bringing another character back.. you think S.mouse is gonna get a 6 episode series?

I think Always Sunny is maybe my personal favourite funniest show, I think I laugh the hardest at the gang, they're so awesome. It might be Workaholics though.. it's one of those two!

t-rey wrote:Always Sunny is great. They had a couple of below average (meaning still better than most other shows) seasons in the middle, but it's such a good show. This season was GOLD.

This season was awesome hey! Country Mac was probably my favourite episode, it was nuts! You watch The League too, right Trey?

wfs1234 wrote:I watched it, and now I'm conflicted. I loved the idea of Doctor Who as the intergalactic, time-traveling man with no name and no destination character. But now he has a destination so... :erm: Also, did they introduce a new doctor just for the 50th anniversary episode?!

Have you watched the last season or two of the series, Willy? They've been dancing around the death-location of the Doctor for awhile.. kinda thought it was a neat twist that he knew those details and decided to avoid them. They're introducing a new Doctor in the Christmas episode but they did a special awhile ago introducing the new guy, Peter Capaldi, awesome older dude I think will be a great doctor.

Did you guys watch any of the specials leading up the anniversary episode? There was a few, a movie, couple documentaries on the history and science of the show, and a really funny little show that had a few of the past doctors trying to get themselves involved with the anniversary episode.. it was really cool and funny.

i think its really cool that it doesnt drop off drastically in quality as it goes on, like a lot of shows

Totally! This last season, #9, was fantastic.. I think they're signed in for another couple seasons too..

Of course! I've been watching on and off since series two of the reboot, but I really started getting unto it after season three. :thumb: I thought they'd nailed down both a time and a place for the death of the doctor? It was really cool the way they did it too!. I'm conflicted about this new-found sense of purpose, though... I really like the space-age ,man-with-no-name character, and this feels like this could potentially depart from that :erm:

I am glad they're going back to having an old-guy for the doctor, though. I heard Helen Mirren really wanted to be the new doctor! Don't know any details about that, but I think that would've been pretty cool!

I'll have to look up those specials. I'm especially curious about the science one, because I know the show has some... Problems with that in the past.

Real Husbands of Hollywood.. it's got Kevin Hart and Nick Cannon and JB Smoove and Nelly and it's hilarious, one of those 'reality' style shows where the main guy makes himself seem awful.. it's actually a lot like Curb Your Enthusiasm and even has Leon in it...

Oh man, this sounds like it could be great. Must check out.

Country Mac was great! I liked all of this season - watching them discover that they are all alcoholics was probably my favorite moment in the season. And I do watch the League, but have only seen the first three seasons. I need to catch up on season 4 now that it's on Netflix.

Hey Willy, remember when the Doctor and Clara go to where his big TARDIS tomb is and he opens the time vortex or whatever.. does he end up going in it then? Or just Clara goes in it then? And from then on, he knows he'll ultimately die there one day but he just decides to never bother going back there?

Trey, this season ruled hey.. loved that quarantine episode too, it was nuts! Workaholics must start up soon hey?

I found a tv show that has really knocked my socks off... I love it.. it's called Video Game High School, it's on Netflix, it has 11 episodes total, it's about an alternate reality where kids go to school to play video games and compete and it's got a really hilarious sense of humour and cool effects and tons of awesome gaming references. If you dig video games and comedy you gotta check it out.

Haha yeah that's great, I'm a fan too.. used to be a huge fan, like plan my Sunday night around the Simpsons, back in the late 90s, kinda fan. I don't keep up with it nowadays but we still watch the Halloween episodes every year, love those.

So what shows do you guys just have to watch every Christmas season? For me it's Christmas Vacation, Die Hard1, TPB Christmas Special, that's my big 3.

Ah yeah. I loved Sunday nights in the 90s. The Simpsons was always my favorite part of the week. Luckily at the end of the 90s when the Simpsons went into decline we got shows like Dilbert Daria, King of the Hill and Futurama.

As for Christmas movies, it's always Gremlins and Home Alone for me.

I'm pumped for Workaholics, Kroll Show, Red Dwarf, hurry up 2014!

Trey, there's a new Adult Swim cartoon and it's funny.. it's called Rick and Morty, it's a grampa and grandson team that go on crazy science adventures, it's really cool, 3 episodes in so far.

We watched the 1987 Garfield Christmas special last night.. I loved Garfield like crazy when I was young.. and now in many ways I am like Garfield.. circle of life, man.

It's probably my favourite old Christmas show from my childhood, just something about it and I really loved Garfield when I was young. I like how it has some sadness in it, how as you get older Christmas has less loved ones around etc, more sad feels.. Garfield keeps it extra real.

haha wtf were they thinking with that hey! It's so mind-blowingly poorly done and terrible... it was fore-shadowing of what was to come with the franchise 20 years later!

Anybody watch the Christmas day Doctor Who? I'm excited for the new doctor, I think he's gonna do great. I think it's cool it's an older dude again, used to always be older dudes not 22 year-olds. (just teasing Matt Smith, he ruled in my opinion!)
