He was on all of the shows with Nurosis and Tragedy, while KWC only hopped on the SF dates. So yeah, he was over KWC. Interesting stuff, I didn't know if I wanted to hear more or go shit my pants because I was next to the PA and the rumble was insane during his set.

Eminence Wizards. All day. Every single day. I have 'em in one of my 412s, and the other has v30s. V4 into the V30 cab, V2 into the Wizard cab.

I could be very interested in those EL34's. Never hurts to have spares.
My Sound City blew a fuse when I hit a big cord with a cranked boost in front of it, which scares me because it might mean the voltage is spiking. But I don't know much about amps besides basic shit. Any insight? There wasn't symptoms of anything besides that I bias my amp really hot because the bias circuit is all funky. Fuck, I just need to rebuild the inside of this amp.

I started on one yesterday as well. I might finish it up this weekend. got some other ideas for a different one so I'm going to work on that today. maybe I'll finish up some logos and artwork for the 5 I'm sitting on right now.
I ended up with a Presonus Firepod the other day so now I can record 8 tracks at once. Stoked to try it out on this new album we're starting on. Put the kit in the center of the room and put all these mics on it. I usually do the 4 mics on a kit but I figured that since I had enough inputs that I would try out some overheads this time. I've got my cab in the closet behind my heads with a mic on it and the other guitar cab is in another bedroom to the right of the frame. Got pretty good isolation even though the amps are cranked pretty loud. The drums sound good so far, but I'm not happy with the tones I'm getting from my guitar. I gotta fuck around with mic placement. I'm not getting the tone I hear in the room of the guitar coming through the monitors. Will fuck around with that more tomorrow though.
