You and me both, buddy. Worst feeling is worst.

I'm sorry to hear about your job, neonblack! You seem like a really smart and resourceful guy, so I think you'll be back on your feet in no time. As long as we keep the flips ILF-"local", you will eventually get your babies back too!

Ah, well I gave in and trimmed my beard. Only lasted four months (of a planned twelve). Facial hair is one of those things where decent isn't really decent at all and it was just looking a bit not great, I just don't have the density to pull off any sort of real length. I will try again in a few years.

This is me. Anything over a half inch and I start to look pretty crazy.

I grew my beard short and trimmed it regularly for a year before I decided to just let it grow. Once it gets longer, it'll cover up some of the empty spots.

Yeah, I'm lucky in that while my beard isn't dense, it is very consistent for the most part. I just got the stage where stuff was getting long enough and sticking off my face enough that my beard didn't look like a collective "beard" so much as a lot of individual hairs. Unfortunately my beard is also very straight, you can get away with a lot more if it's curly. It looked pretty ok before it got to that stage but where I liked it was way too long for clippers so I would have had to actually use scissors and fuck that, I have zero eye for symmetry.

dude fuck symmetry

then again, dreadlocks help you pass a lot of shit unnoticed. like, trimming half of your eyebrow off, or having an extremely uneven beard

Fucking car has been in the shop since December 20th. Coolant was leaking into the oil because of a blown head gasket. But as soon as that was straightened out last week, they still heard a noise so they wanted to drop the oil pan to search for the cause. Now they are replacing the rod bearings, rings and sending the crank to a machine shop to be cleaned and inspected. Looking at middle of next week before I get it back. So I have had two different rentals and have to drop the second one of at enterprise to pick up one of the dealers cars because the rental terms are expiring. But only having 1 car seat between 2 cars has made my wife and my time crazier picking up and dropping our son off at daycare.
My only solace in this ordeal is that I have an extended warranty so I only have to pay a $200 deductible (hopefully) when its all said and done. I just want my fucking car back already.

Fuck that's a long time. At least it isn't too expensive. I just had to swap my battery and get an oil change and that was $140.
Anyone else have those days where you just wake up absolutely exhausted, like you can't move? That happened to me today, over an hour late for work. Thankfully the boss isn't even here yet.

I felt the same way yesterday, got home from work, made a sandwich and just collapsed on to my bed with my cats, was so hard to get up. I get 6-8 hours of sleep every night so I'm unsure whats going on. Probably all of the weed and cigarettes. For the first time in my life, after smoking on and off for a couple years, I'm hardcore addicted to cigarettes.

Rough stuff dude. I'm currently not smoking (again), but I've spent the last eight years or so doing the on and off thing. Smoking is great, but the rest of the package sucks. I don't recommend it for anyone.
